CALL FOR NC REPRESENTATION AT THE NSH CONVENTION

​                                                                        Good day fellow histotechs!

It is the pleasure of the North Carolina Society of Histotechnology to announce that there are openings for our members to be apart of the virtual House of Delegates. They will represent North Carolina in the NSH’s Convention.

                                        The annual convention will take place October 14th-19th 2022 in person


What is a Delegate?

  • In addition to the Board of Directors, NSH has a House of Delegates that meets once a year, at the Annual Symposium/Convention. The House of Delegates is made up of representatives from each state in which NSH has active members.

What Are the Qualifications To Serve As A Delegate?

  • The individual person must be an active member in good standing with the NSH for one year prior to the date of the House of Delegates meeting. Eligibility of each person submitted will be verified according to NSH’s roster.
  • The interested person must be in good standing with the North Carolina Society of Histotechnology


What is covered by NCSH?

  • One hotel night and two meals. The meals should not exceed $30 per day.
  • All funding will be based upon the completion of all tasks as outlined in the job descriptions or as assigned.
  • Expense reports will be emailed to the selected members serving as delegates
