Tonia has been in the field for over 30 years, working in clinical, research and industry. She has been a volunteer for NCSH for over 10 years in various capacites. She currently works for General Data Healthcare as a Field Support Manager.
Pamela Ovwigho
Pamela has 24 years of histology experience with a degree in biology. She believes in getting the job done well and always giving your best. Pamela has managed and supervised various teams. As a member of NCSH she plans to continue the growth of the organization.
Brandy Cristante, HT
Brandy has been in the field for over 22 years in the clinical area and a volunteer for NCSH for 6 years. She is the Histology Supervisor at Womack Army Medical Center.
Samantha Golden, BS, HT(ASCP) QIHC(ASCP)

Samantha has been in the field of histology for over 18 years. She is currently the Histology Coordinator at Mission Hospital/HCA in Asheville. She has enjoyed being involved in and volunteering with the NCSH. She is excited to have the opportunity to serve as treasurer where she can work with all aspects of the society.

Donald Ray Perry, BHS, MLT, HT, HTL (ASCP)
CEU Coordinator
Ray served his country for 10 years in the Army and has been in the field for 21 years working in the clinical setting. He currently is the Anatomic Pathology Manager at Womack Army Medical Center.

Teresa has over 33 years in the field in the clinical area. She has volunteered for NCSH for about 6 years and currently works at Carolina Medical Center East as the Histology Supervisor.
Otis Lyght, HT, QIHC (ASCP)
Historian
Otis has been in the field for 45 years to include clinical and research. He has served as a volunteer for NCSH for 18 years. He is currently working as a govenment contractor at NIEHS as a Senior Histologist/Biologist.
David Weil, BS, HTL(ASCP)
IT/AV Coordinator
David has been in the field for over 21 years to include clinical, research and industry. He has been a NCSH Volunteer for about 15 years and is currently the Histology Supervisor at Charles River Laboratories.
Renee Fisher BS, MS, HT (ASCP)
Liaison Coordinator
Renee has been in the field for 40 years working in a variety of clinical histology labs. She recently transitioned to the research environment . She has been a volunteer for NCSH for 2 years and is part Renee currently is the Supervisory Biologist at the National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) overseeing histology, necropsy, and Immunohistochemistry cores.
Lequanda Stewart
Liaison Coordinator Assistant
Lequanda started working as a histology technician at Wake Forest Baptist hospital in 1999 where she was trained on the job. She returned back to school to receive her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Winston Salem State University. She has had most of her experiences in a mohs lab.

Cathy has been in the field for over 41 years working for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Medical School, with a pretty equal split between clinical and research. She currently works in Comparative Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist.

Kate Coldren

Kate has been supporting NC & SC region since 2022 for Sakura Finetek as an Area Sales Manager. Prior to joining her current role, she supported distribution customers for consumables for medicine and science in the lab, assisted in managing distribution and GPO contracts, and has nine years clinical experience in veterinary medicine with supporting staff in numerous roles from general practice to referral surgery.
